About Golden Triangle
The point near Chiang Saen where the Ruak river meets the Mekong and Thailand, Laos and Myanmar touch. Once the name of a notorious opium region, today it is a viewpoint with a large golden Buddha, boat trips and the Hall of Opium museum nearby.
