It enshrines the Phra Buddha Sihing, a revered Buddha image that is carried through the streets during Songkran. The small Wihan Lai Kham is a jewel of classic Lanna architecture, with carved gables and fine murals showing daily life in old northern Thailand. The large main wihan and a gilded chedi complete the compound. Visit early morning or late afternoon, when the light is warm and the monks chant.
